Builder. Broker. Marine.

Twenty-five years putting up buildings that had to open on a date and closing deals that had to survive scrutiny. Now pointing all of that at federal work, foreclosures, and the ground itself.

I build systems that work, connect tech with reality, and make just enough noise from the corner of the meeting to remind everyone that substance still matters — fully aware that might be why I'm left off the next invite.

Now

What I'm working on

Three things at once, which is about the right number.

Gallant Federal Contracting Inc.

Islamorada, Florida · SDVOSB · CGC1535049

A service-disabled veteran-owned general contracting firm built to serve federal construction needs: renovation, tenant build-out, site work, and small-to-mid projects where a lean, experienced team that mobilizes fast beats a big one that doesn't.

Set up for set-aside work in the US and at American installations in Europe.

Foreclosures

Miami-Dade & the Keys

Buying, renovating, and reselling foreclosed properties. Broker's eye on the buy side, contractor's eye on the scope, and a rule about never falling in love with a house that still has a lis pendens on it.

Ukraine

Kyiv

Helping get the guys on the front the things they're missing. I know what it's like to work "without," and it's a fixable problem.

Next

Mining, reclamation, and the messes left behind

I've spent a career on things that come out of the ground and go into buildings. I'm now moving toward the ground itself.

Mine cleanup & mitigation contracting

Alaska · abandoned mine lands · federal & state programs

Alaska has thousands of abandoned mine sites on federal and state land that need openings closed, slopes stabilized, drainage treated, and ground restored. That is construction work with a geology problem attached, in places where mobilization is half the job, and it flows through agencies that set aside contracts for service-disabled veteran-owned firms.

Gallant Federal Contracting is positioning for exactly that: reclamation, remediation, and site mitigation for BLM, the Forest Service, and the State of Alaska, with the logistics to get a crew and equipment to places the road doesn't reach.

Into the mining industry

Exploration, small-scale placer, and the people who do it

Exploration is the part of the industry that pulls hardest at me. I'm doing this the way I've done everything else: learn the fundamentals, show up in person, and build the contact list one handshake at a time.

Where I'll be this season:

  • Alaska Miners Association · Anchorage
  • Yukon Geoscience Forum · Whitehorse
  • AEMA · Sparks, NV
  • VRIC + AME Roundup · Vancouver
  • PDAC · Toronto

If you're working a property, running a crew, or need someone who can read both a drill log and a construction schedule, let's talk.
